Have for sale this 1979 Zum. Guitar is a 9 out of 10, very clean, especially for a 1979. I will setup however buyer wants it. Right now it’s an Emmons setup with Es on right knee but will change to your setup. Comes with a really nice custom case an a leg bag. $5500 plus shipping.

Come on now, after over 3000 views and no one interested in this immaculate 79 Zum. I played it last week at a little jam we had and though I had to fight the setup, the guys said it’s best sounding steel I’ve ever played with them and I’ve played push pulls, ShoBuds and a little of everything really. I just wanted to see how it performed with a band and it didn’t let me down. I could get used to having the Es on right knee, felt pretty comfortable.

Greetings to all my Mentors in this wonderful Community….

I Cannot believe this Beautiful “ZUM Pedal Steel Guitar” is still available! (???)
I would have honestly Believed that you could have used a Stopwatch to measure how fast this Sold when it was first listed! I was expecting a record for fastest Sale of a Steel Guitar!
I WISH Ihad the cash! This wouldn’t be here! It would have been an investment Steel for me….
Although I know this WILL sell, I just expected a quicker outcome,
Ok, Ok, I’ll shut my big mouth,
JSM

Henry, I can’t really tell from pictures but the tail looks like the tail has been routed out for splits like Eddie Lane did his 80 model Zum. Also how are the knees positioned? Thanks for your time.

Yes sir, it does have split tuners and looks factory to me but may have been done by Bruce later.
Guitar has 2 LKL, a vertical and of course LKR, and both right knees .
It also has a vertical and and a RKL in center for C6th. I can make them to any set up you’d like. I believe that’s 8, lol

You could save on shipping, could meet you half way.
