Hey all! Isn't it a bit ironic that one of the nicest country tunes in a long while was produced using AI. Always liked Randy from the time I first heard him sing at the Nashville Palace( on his break from his cooking gig). Had a feeling that he had something good going on. Anyway, I feel that it was a great and honest use of AI considering the ongoing controversies as to its validity. Will probably trigger a series of such projects in the future...we'll surely see(hear). Glad for Randy...it has to be a great thrill. I found it to be genuine and a great record. Could be maybe the first song to chart #1 for an AI production. What do y'all think? Respectfully submitted,RK🤔 _________________ "think MORE...play LESS" |

I agree that is a very fine song on its own merits.
The method of producing it does show that AI can certainly be used for good things. The documentary was fascinating. At some point there will probably be a miniature wearable device so that people with vocal trouble like Randy will be able to speak clearly.
Not to be mean at all, but that is the best I ever heard Randy Travis sound! But Randy's little imperfections were always what made him sound so good.
The future will be very interesting. |

I like the song and agree, that AI can be helpful as long as its used correctly and ethically, Looking forward to more from Randy! _________________ Regards, Craig

I just saw the video and it was great. I would say that this is as close to being "him" as you can get, and it has his seal of approval, so if it sounds good, it is good. |
