What gauges are good for an open D resophonic guitar tuning?

I just use a standard dobro (G) set. If the low D is a tad flabby for you increase the diaameter to .058-.060 although that won't work if you switch tuning back to G.

Thanks Howard. I just bought a Recording King reso and will either sell my Regal or put an open D tuning on it since I am also learning open D slide guitar.
