Getting a 6 string pedal steel in open G, Can anyone recommend the string gauges? _________________ I have a Tele plus telecaster, Larrivee acoustic. Also have a Fender resonator guitar with new Quarterman cone and spider, and an Allan tailpiece .Playing through a Fender Super Champ XD, using a little delay on the amp and a Harmonix Holy Grail Echo pedal, set on Hall turned to about 1pm.Just Bought a Yamaha FGX5 Recently and love it. Recently got a Sho-NUFF 6 string pedal steel in open G.Still learning. |

What sort of a copedant goes on an open G with four or five pedals?
(Very impressive looking 6 string by the way. Kind of a Fender pick up and maybe like an MCI fret board ? and some sort of original frame, keyless, nice changer, etc. There's a lot going on there !) _________________ Derby SD-10 5x6; GFI S-10 5x5; GFI S-10 5x5; Zum D-10 8x7; Zum D-10 9x9; Fender 400; Fender Rumble 200; Nashville 400; Telonics TCA-500.
