14 years ago, on April 24th, 2010 I went to the Jackson Steel Guitar Company to pick up the best pedal steel guitar I've ever played, my Jackson Blackjack Custom. I remember walking into the garage and seeing the Jackson brothers, Harry and David Jackson with several steels set up-the steels were a Jackson Blackjack, a Jackson Blackjack Custom, a Jackson UltraLite, and a Shot Jackson Commemorative steel. David had put the Blackjack Custom in front of me first, so I played a few parts of "San Antonio Rose", then he put the Blackjack in front of me and I played a few notes on it, then after playing both steels, David and Harry asked me which steel I liked best, and I said, "The Blackjack Custom", then David smiled and said, "The Blackjack Custom is the guitar we built for you!" That guitar is still with me now and always will be!
