I’ve heard a lot of variations on this intro, but this one always sticks. I can’t seem to figure it out by ear. Maybe it’s Pete Drake’s copedent. Does anyone happen to know how to start this one off?

Hi Robert, Just letting you know, I have a video lesson teaching my interpretation of all the steel parts for the newer version of "Pass Me By" by George Jones. If you're interested, just send me a private message.

The tail end of that intro isn't too dissimilar to the original one, but I've been obsessing over 1974 version and its deeper, lower notes. It might be able to help me find the right placement, though.
