Is there any footage or recordings of Ernie Ball Sr. playing steel back in the day like KTLA?
His Bigsbys were different and he was an innovator so what were his earlier contributions to psg?

Ernie appears on a number of songs on the Tommy Duncan CD, "Texas Moon". I don't have the CD at hand right now, and I can't remember which songs he is on, but there are quite a few with Ernie. It's a great collection, and there are also songs with Noel Boggs and Billy Tonneson on steel. I think all of the recordings on the CD are ca. 1951.
