Whole thing is great - and the steel is heavy in the mix all the way through. I know some people were complaining about Paul not being present enough in a different live mix a while back. Meh, everything he does with Stapleton sounds great to me. Not every song has enough space for this kind of spacious steel, but this is glorious. |

It is great to see the Steel getting showcased in front of a contemporary crowd... especially in the hands of one of the best ever players of all time. This is what is going set the younger hearts on fire for this instrument!
The opening solo was just beautiful... but all of the fill work, Man, that really shines! _________________ blah, blah, blah.

Chris Stapleton is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this week. I really hope he brings Paul Franklin - and Paul gets some serious camera time. |

Paul fit that song like a glove. Absolutely beautiful playing. A full playthrough lesson on that on his instructional course site wouldn't be a bad idea. *Wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* _________________ Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright.
