Gonna depend on how hot the output on the keyboard is most likely. _________________ Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous; praise is meet for the upright. Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation. For the word of the Lord is true, and all His works are in faithfulness. The Lord loveth mercy and judgement; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.

I used my Hilton with a Korg Triton I used to have, and it did fine with no issues at all. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . It depends on what's next in the signal chain. Will the output of the volume pedal go to a guitar amp (with input impedance ~ 1meg ohms)? If so, a steel volume pedal (100k ohms) is fine. But if the output of the volume pedal is going to a keyboard amp or directly to a mixer (input impedance as low as 10k to 100k ohms), that won't work, and you'll need a low-impedance volume pedal (Boss FV-50L, FV-30L or similar.) In this case, "that won't work" means "it will load down the signal way too much," not "you won't hear anything at all." _________________ Long-time guitar player, now wrestling with lap steel. |
