I'm baffled by the names. I see TCA500C ir TCA 500: Are there different models? _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles, Martins, and a Gibson Super 400!

I believe the difference between the 500 B & C is that the C has a switchable speakON external speaker jack on the back of the amp that the B does not have. |

Roger, I did a fair bit of field testing of the TCA500 for Dave and basically the lettering signifies each iteration of the amps development.
"A" being the first version... and "C" being the current and latest version :-} ... little improvements and features being added in the development cycle.

One of the features in this model C (TCA-500C) version is that the internal speaker is 4 ohms. Plugging in an external speaker using the speakON external speaker jack reconfigures the amp so that the two speakers are in series for a total of 8 ohms
