I just read that David Sanborn has died at 78. Quite an iconic force in Contemporary Jazz. I saw him live back in 2009, that set was on fire! He will be missed.

RIP David, what a great player, I was a big fan of his records and as a player on so many great records over the years!

I was a big fan of his Night Music TV show, one of the best music shows on TV ever. RIP.

Love David. He passed from prostate cancer. I hope all of us here are getting regular PSA and exams!!
