Wouldn’t work for me- too long and narrow. I prefer a wider flat shoe like Chuck Taylor's or Vans… |

Hey! I like them! Keep the shoe polish off that beautiful Red Suede!
Chuck Leob has a song for you... Maybe a good one for PSG: Red Suede Shoes!

I bought these shoes as a joke for $49 to wear at a dinner party. I also had a loud Hawaiian shirt. Lots of comments and laughs. _________________ I survived the sixties! |

actually I like the narrow shape of the toes. I play only in cowboy boots. I think the narrow toe makes it easier to move to A B C pedals.. _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 3 & 5 The Eagle

Too pointy for me. I wish i could use my old Justins, but can't. I haven't found any boots that work for me. Im using light weight sneakers but really need something dressier. |

I think they're terrific!
I'm dismayed to find that I can no longer play in shows of any kind! Four years of just wearing socks to play has meant that, if I sit down to play with any footwear, I inadvertently depress an adjacent pedal to the one intended!
I could never play in cowboy boots and had many a tussle with 'wardrobe' when I was doing shows. Still, plain black dress shoes I could manage - but not any more. _________________ Roger Rettig: Emmons D10, B-bender Teles and Martins - and, at last, a Gibson Super 400!

Great buy But did you in fact try to play in them and if so, how were they? |
No, I use Merrell Jungle Mic slip on shoes for pedal steel and have for many years. I find the fit is consistent when ordering a new pair. The $49 shoes actually feel pretty good but I don't think they would be good for the pedal steel. But I will try them, who knows _________________ I survived the sixties! |
