Hello Folks, I have a new build unfinished double 10 push/pull with changers at both ends, and I need help after I have the finish put on this Steel guitar to rod it up, the guitar looks similar to a BMI push/pull with two changers, but it is not a BMI, is there anyone still around who knows how to rod up this type of pedal steel guitar? I have all the parts including pedalbar, legs, necks, changers, the body is predrilled, I can assemble it but can't rod it, just need help with that. Jim Palenscar worked on a push-pull BMI for me recently, completely re-rodding it. He mentioned seeking out some advise from the owner of BMI along the way. So there's at least a couple guys out there who know their way around those unusual push rods. |

Here is a picture of the push/pull that needs to be rodded on both changers When I install them, I am no good at rodding them up.

oops I never get these pictures right, I am not sure of what color to finish the body with, if any ideas let me know, once I get this guitar done it might become my main guitar, sorry about the pedalbar, I will fix that, got it on backwards. |
