My son just showed me this great song played and composed by Bobby Black
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgREUV1-Jvg
Really a great song, wasn't aware that he had done anything for the show or they just used this song. _________________ Regards, Craig

Bobby is one of the players that inspired me to learn steel.
If there's one word for him it's "stylish". So cool! _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

There's quite a bit of Hawaiian style steel in the SpongeBob soundtrack. I still call that up a major 7th complete the octave cadence the "spongebob" cadence cause that's what I associate it with from when I was a kid. (Think the end of "Aloha Oe")

Another cool one from early 00s cartoons is Steve Dawson
playing lap steel on Ed, Edd N Eddy. He does the wah wah trick with the tone knob a couple of times.

Give praise to the Lord with the harp, chant unto Him with the ten-stringed psaltery. Sing unto Him a new song, chant well unto Him with jubilation.
