I have acquired an Emmons D-10 P/P with a serial # of 6450...
Would this be a reissue p/p Emmons built with left over parts from the earlier days?
And if so, about what year were these built?

6xxx serial #s were early '80s, last of the production push-pulls before they transitioned to the LeGrande. _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |

It has been my experience that the reissues all had an R in the serial #. |

Thanks Ian and Jim, it sounds as if this one is a late model original run from the 80's. Thank you for the help. |

Jim, did the reissues with 'R' also have 6xxx serials? _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |
