Following this discussion, as I will soon inherit a Quilter Micropro Mach 2. Probably pretty similar to the original poster's, with a single 12 and 200 solid state watts. I've heard it played with guitar before but never pedal steel. Seems like a great amp.

Kevin it is a great amp but the cabinet size hurts the tone. I put the HD speaker in mine to handle better bass and it was an improvement. I struggled with settings until I used a Line 6 pod xt in front of the amp for greater tone control.
The Block dock has a better bass and smoother tone. I use one with an aftermarket cabinet with the TT 12 speaker and it sounds great. I recently tried it using a V30 Celestion in the same cabinet and it still sounds great but be careful on the volume due to a lower watt speaker.
