I am looking for single gauge strings to replenish incomplete sets that I have. I generally order online as my local stores are really expensive for strings-plus both Guitar Center and two other independent music stores in my area do not have a complete stock of singles, store workers do not know why, and guy at my local Guitar Center didn't think they were going to get anymore singles.
I have checked JustStrings.com, MusiciansFriend.com and Sweetwatermusic.com. All have some single gauges but not a complete listing.
I was wondering if anyone here buys single gauges from time to time, and where. I need stuff like .011; .022; .030; .034; .038; .054 and .066
I can't seem to find anyplace that has these particular gauges as singles.

Check out Just Strings:

Best to order in bulk. I like their 12 packs of gauged strings. Both plain, nickel-wound, and bronze. It's a no-brainer if you're a multi-instrumentalist with several different instruments, especially if you like to experiment with different tunings.

It's a constant source of amazement that many string instrument players -- and especially pedal steelers -- will jump at pulling the trigger on the newest and greatest stomp box or volume pedal or amp or tuner or what-have-you, but will chintz-out on a good stash of spare strings.

Thanks Jack, a couple of the singles I need, Just Strings said they were out of stock. They are suppose to email me when they get a new stock, but that has been several weeks now. I'd like to order from one place rather than several companies.

I second juststrings.com bulk sets if I want a bunch. I keep piles of these around. Are you trying to get true singles or bulk strings, which are by the dozen? I have been ordering bulks from them for years, and I have yet to run into a backorder situation. Of course, it can happen anywhere, but they generally keep a lot of these in stock. The plains come to around a quarter a string. Buying true singles is a lot more expensive, per string. I eventually use them up. I got an email a while ago saying that orders > $65 ship free, which is a nice change. I've gotten every gauge you listed except .066 (which I don't think they carry) - but have gotten .068 and .070, which is pretty much standard-issue for the low C/B for the C6 and E9/B6 universal bottom string.

plain steel strings - https://juststrings.com/plain-steel-guitar-bulk-strings-1.html

nickel wound steel strings - https://juststrings.com/nickel-guitar-bulk-strings-1.html

stainless wound steel strings - https://juststrings.com/stainless-steel-guitar-bulk-strings-1.html

If you really just want true singles, the forum store can fix you up.

Well bulk strings are what I already have...too many! Not really looking for more strings, just trying to replace the singles from my 3 sets that are incomplete.
I generally don't buy singles, but rather sets. Juststrings.com has been my go too for several years. And buying locally here around the Spokane Washington area you can spend $1.99 for .011 to .022 and $3.89 for .030 and up. Thanks for the links and suggestions-Jagwire and Out West look promising!!!
