Up for your consideration, this early 70’s (73 I think) Fender Deluxe 6 string lap steel. Includes original case and legs. I purchased this guitar, along with a few other instruments, from a lifelong friend of mine in Ga back a couple of months ago. Thru the years, he built up a really nice lap steel collection, and has recently started selling them off. Most, if not all, of these guitars were purchased from the original owners…including this one. Includes both original single coil pickups with the blender knob, original 3 legs and case….and locking key! Very little play wear, super clean little package right here. Priced to sell quick as I have my eye on another guitar! $1500 firm & buyer covers shipping.

Howard, it did not come with a cover. Now I’m wondering if this model came with one? Where or what would it attach to? I’m waiting to hear back from the man that I bought it from, he would know. Thank you for your interest and I’ll respond again as soon as i hear from him.

Just spoke with the previous owner. The cover was not with the instrument when he originally purchased it.

Yes Howard the blend wheel I circled in Red below in one pic; shows the wheel, and in 3 of 5 pics Jason posted.
And yes they came with a cover that attached to the outside beveled part of the axle in front of the wheel.

| I have a later version Deluxe-8 (hex tuning keys). Fender started smoothing the ends of the bridge, so they did not come with the ashtray cover. |
