These pictures show an option of clamping onto the front or rear legs of your steel. The brackets are extremely strong and sturdy. This allows you S10 and D10 players a option of having a handy lap steel ready. With your effects, the possibilities are a lot of fun. The 2dsguitars are $575.00 plus shipping. The optional leg brackets are $50.00. They are all shipped in a small handmade crate. The guitars are 22 1/2" scale with Grover mini tuners, brass bridge and nut and a P90 or humbucker pick up.
Thanks for looking.

Dennis,

Wow! What a bitchin idea!

On the butt end of your guitars, I see one output and on another, there's two. What are the two jacks for?

Also, how much do they weigh please?

Thanks, Dave

Hi David. The guitar that has the two 1/4" Jack's also has a A/B switch. If you plug your steel into the 2dsguitar, you can switch it from steel to the 2ds and back. The other jack is output to your volume pedal or effects.

Don't put this off. Just go ahead and pick one up. This is a great add on for your SD10. Pull that ugly vinyl pad off and install something on there you can use.

You can tune it any way you want. You can have reso sounds if you add a stomp pedal, You can have blues and rock tones that sound better with a 6 string pickup v. the heavy pedal steel units.

With other fx units and settings, you can play island stuff as well.

This is a very versatile instrument and when you consider the A\B switch and jack are already installed, pretty danged good value. Also has volume and tone controls already installed.

Of course you could just put in on your lap if you don't want to mount it on your guitar and Dennis' bracket is also another option.
