It’s Buddy Emmons and Red Rhodes. Red played the intro and Buddy played the rest of the song.

Wow! That's cool, I always thought it was Lloyd. Such great playing. One of those songs you always hear at the supermarket or driving in the car.
Some Tom Brumley sounds on that too.

Funny that they didn't credit Red on the song, after reading Fish's book on Buddy it's amazing to see how many great songs he played on.

I heard that Red Rhodes did the initial session, and Richard Carpenter called in Buddy Emmons to re-do the fills. They kept Red's intro. This must have been when Buddy was living and working in California.
