I'm a keys player, but I love the sound of bending notes, like steel players do it. I tried to make these instrumental sections on this Roger Miller cover I did sound like something that twin guitars or twin steels might have played. I arranged and recorded the two parts and it was kinda painstaking to do, and I'm proud of how it turned out. I think y'all may enjoy and appreciate it. For a steel player to play both of my overdubbed parts simultaneously exactly as I played them, without overdubbing, would be pretty impossible I think, though it doesnt sound like it. I tried to stagger/alternate the bending, so that neither part was ever bending at the same time. When one part bends, the other part does a regular stepping, scale-type motion, and vice versa. But to hear them together it all just melds together and doesnt sound staggered really. Thanks in advance for listening, especially check out the longer section in the middle, not just the intro๐Ÿ˜Ž. Hope you enjoy! And I hope you have a great day!๐Ÿ˜Šโคโ˜ฎ๐ŸŽต

That's just lovely. Beautiful melody with those bends. I love it. Wish I could intonate those bends with the pitch wheel the way you do.

Great job all around... enjoying the vocals etc. too.

You chose a wonderful tune to demonstrate this technique. I could listen to this kind of stuff all day. It's just completely soothing and listenably mellow.

Nice. Very casual and laid back sound. The bends were worth the trouble.

Nice! It takes some serious vocal chops to nail that song, and you (and your harmony singer) made it sound effortless. I like the way the song fades out on the instrumental too. Great job mixing and recording.

It would be an interesting and challenging project to get your keyboard solo down note for note on pedal steel.
