So, realizing that promoting original music without visuals is virtually impossible nowadays, I wanted to do an actual music video to promote my music and help people see what a pedal steel looks like. So many people, even pro musicians and engineers, confuse lap steel, pedal steel and slide guitar, although I presume everyone here deals with that on a regular basis, outside the major pedal steel hubs at least.
So here is the video for my composition Palindrome. The red Fessenden really POPS!

This is not a filmed live performance. We did our best to play along with the record... but that's pretty much impossible in the improvised solo section, hahaha! For those wondering how we pull this off in concert, here's a live performance of the same piece:
