Man, can Robert play! Very creative and unique sounding Hendrix on the steel. What a player.

Ross Shafer and I met Robert in Boston to show him a "New Era Sierra" U-12 a couple years back. Robert was a real gentleman and a really good guy. He played the heck out of the Sierra and it was great to see him up close doing his thing. He played in his usual genre and then ripped off one of the most classic sounding traditional country tunes in great style... a surprise.

BTW, Robert was more than willing to accept the U-12 as part of a sponsorship deal... Ross, however, is determined to sell him one... Robert is in no hurry though because, at the time and if memory serves me correctly, he said he already had 13 pedal steel guitars! Smile IMHO... not enough!
