I have been shipping items over the last couple of weeks. USPS has introduced a new shipping service that they call Enhanced Click-n-Ship. I estimate it's about 40% less than priority mail, and it's trackable. The snowstorms over the past week slowed packages down, but it's almost as fast as priority mail.

I also shipped an amplifier via UPS with no problems. Sure, it costs more, but it's not prohibitively expensive.

Thanks for the info.

I have before and will continue to suggest that folks use https://www.pirateship.com/

Their rates are the best and they will show you what each shipping service costs for the same shipment.

Thanks. I checked the rates, and they are great on Pirate Ship.

A friend just shipped me a steel via Pirateship. I'm confused about how cheap the shipping was -- I sort of wrote it off as being a benefit of his having a commercial account? But anyway, thanks to this prod here, I just opened an account. It looks really smart.
