Budget-mid range 8 string lap steel?

I’m 100% weissenborns in my stable (6 strings) all in open D or C or G

Am dipping into 6th/9th/11th/13th tunings
Looks like having an 8 string is a good idea/option.

I’m not fleeced with lots of money
Considering budget or mid-range priced 8 string options

Probably slab lap steels - unless you want to spin a deal on an 8 string hollowneck 🙂
