Well our dear Miss Dixie has gone to be with the Lord today at 3:35 pm. She went into the hospital Tuesday with a high pulse rate and low oxygen and blood pressure. They tried to do everything they could without going against her wishes. She ended up losing the battle with congestive heart failure. You will be missed Grandma.

Sad news. Dixie was such a part of the Mullen family. I always remember her phone call when she told me my Mullen guitar was ready for pickup. May her memory be a blessing.

Oh my. I'm so sorry to hear about this.
The Mullen family built me a beautiful U-12 guitar back in the 1990s.
Dixie was my primary contact back then. Such a nice lady. She always returned my telephone calls...in the evening. We communicated by fax on several occasions.
As I recall, she was winding pickups back then.
My condolences to the family.
