I'm selling my 1980 Emmons D10 push pull. This guitar belonged to the late great Tom Palmer (D2F covers). Serial 2856 D. Standard Emmons setup, 8&5.
The guitar was completely restored by Lynn Stafford and set up for me upon delivery by Lynn himself.
The guitar is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, outside of a barely visible scratch on the front apron (prior to me getting it.. see photo #2) and a small, pencil sized ding on the changer. It has only left my house one time in the years I've owned it, and is rock solid and CLEAN.
Currently has a BL 705 pickup on the E9 neck, but I also have the original E9 pickup. It'll need rewound if you want to use it. C6 is unchanged, original single coil.
You can hear an example of how this guitar sounds here:

Comes with a brand new split case with brand new D2F covers.
I'm selling because I have a newborn and I'm thinning the herd. This one doesn't get played as much anymore, and it deserves to be. It's really a great guitar.
Will meet anyone within 100 miles of Columbus, OH, and I'm also around Nashville quite a bit. I'd rather not ship.
Asking $4000.
