I have two of these. Best preamp under $1000. Totally quiet and will give you hiss free recordings when placed between any mic and e.g. a Zoom, Yamaha or other recorder with budget preamps. Also has phantom power and an adjustable tube preamp section, balanced and unbalances I/O and a front panel 1/4 phone input for instruments and input output meters.
