Been away from my guitar for a while. Went to hell and back.

This is a simple swing tune in G6. Enjoy!

Hey Bill,
Thanks for listening.

Haven't thought about a dobro.

Outstanding playing again! Seemingly no limitations of the humble 6-chord tuning in the right hand.

I'm mostly playing jazz tunes in that tuning myself (Resonator and steel) and it reminds me how much further I could go - but it would need another lifetime.

That's lovely. Intonation is spot on.

Terrific feel and one of my favorite lesser played tunes. Barney Kessel and George Barnes both did great versions but love hearing it on steel. It's one I've ben meaning to arrange. Great playing!

Thanks Roland.
I try not to give any though to how long something is going to take to learn unless I have to be ready for a show. I don't give much though to limitations anymore either. It used to be a big issue for me but I suppose the guitar will decide that or just my ability or inability to play maybe.

I got inspired to play this one from the group The New York Voices. I listen to singers a lot when I comes to these kind of tunes.
