A few Emmons PP dimensions wanted

If I am not mistaken, in a D-10 Emmons PP, the clearance between a cross rod and the body is 1/4" greater for the front neck than for the back neck. Can someone answer the following questions?

1) What are these clearances, actually?

2a) In an S-10 PP, is this clearance the lesser or the greater one of 1), and is it the same for an SD-10?
2b) Or is it something else?
