Well...here it is. "The Christmas Song" Instrumental on Pedal Steel Guitar. Every November for the last 10 yrs or so, when the weather would get cold,I would sit down & re-learn this song, but wouldn't have it ready until mid January...LOL ! too late for Xmas again!
So 2018 I put the pedal to the medal to have it ready on time.
I took over the living room for 2 days to record, set up the lighting, the props, & the dog! This song has every chord you can play in "D". By the time I was done I went through 6 Tylenol, 3 rum & cokes, & 5 sweaty shirts sitting by that fire ! Lots of Bloopers & many takes to get it as close as I could to Jeff Newman's version !... Anyway, enjoy ! https://youtu.be/YTWiH8RDWYg?si=63r11Nf2s3U7Hjb0

This is such a fun song to learn ... I've learned it on both necks, though would have to learn it again if I were to play it today ... CHORDS A PLENTY for sure. You did a great job on Mel's incredibly well written song. 👏👏👏
