Well, My DD-3 finally quit on me. So my question to you guys. What is a good digital delay pedal that works good on a Pedal Steel without costing my wife and car. I can't do without my car |

I love my Electro Harmonix Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai - it can do a ton of different things while still keeping a ‘one knob per function’ interface and it just plain sounds good. It’s also useful in recording contexts for tracking the delays separately or in stereo, or for live you can use the left side for steel and the right side for a guitar for example.
For ‘non-country’ gigs I set up presets for specific effects like normal delays, crazy regeneration swells, chorus, reverse delays etc. But unlike many flexible effects, you can also just use it very simply like any straight ahead delay pedal and don’t have to ever scroll through menus on a screen.
Only downside is it’s twice as big a Boss pedal but I think it’s a brilliant and powerful design! _________________ Music mixer, producer and pedal steel guitarist
