Here is my arrangement of Jerry Gleason's Steel Guitar Strut. Jerry plays it on two steel guitars, both tuned to C6 high G. I have adapted it for steel guitar in A6 and regular six string guitar.
Below are parts for the steel guitar top line in A6, the top line and bottom line for guitar (not tabbed) and a rhythm chart.
This is my rehearsal video which follows the chart. It doesn't sound so good next to Jerry's original. Still a way to go but the aim here is to make the tune available to anyone who wants to try it. Jerry is on board with this.

Thanks, Guy. Nice job. There may be more players playing A6 than my C13 (Low to high Bb C E G A C E G, like Jr. Brown's), so it's good to have tab for that tuning. Also, for anyone following along with my video, note that I'm switching necks to E13 (Leon's) for the second solo and shout chorus. |

I searched Guy's old posts for TAB and made a little folder on my desktop. Not all A6, but a lot, almost enough for a book. I am stashing them away like a squirrel for when I have time to work on these great arrangements. The best resource for A6 that I have found. Thanks again Guy! |
