Inspired by Sebastian's recording of Guitara Que Llora, by Les Loups, I started sitting the Internet over for non-country, noon-Hawaiian, Hawaiian guitar. I was rewarded with this compilation. There are some real gems in this album!

Does anyone know of other compilations, artists (past or present) using the Hawaiian guitar for ethnic music (aside from Indian, which there seems to be a fair amount of).

Really great stuff, Lloyd. I love hearing what the rest of the world had to say on steel guitar in those times.
