I have a GFI S10 Ultra with pad, E9 tuning. I need to know how to tune RKR that lowers 2 a half/whole step, and 9 a half step. How do I tune the feel-stop on 2?

Unless there is a separate physical half stop on the guitar, you would use the nylon tuner on the 9th string lower. When the 2nd string reaches the D note is when the 9th string nylon nut starts to pull thr finger on the 9th string. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Timing a half stop feel has to do with configuring the 2 pulls involved. It's a combination of changer hole selection, bell crank connection location and the travel stop of the changer.
Starting with the rodding chart provided by GFI should get you in the ballpark.
The other 2 notes (C# on 2 and C# on 9) you just tune like any other pull. Order doesn't matter. |

Thanks for the tips, I've got it working now. When I saw that the GFI didn't have an extra tuning nut on the ninth string like my Zum Encore does, I didn't know how it was going to work. |
