This is a video announcing my newest recording "Canto" recorded last November in Maria Pinto, Chile with the help of my friends Luis “ToTo” Alvarez (guitars),
“Pajaro” Araya (drums, cuatro), “Pancho” Araya (charango, quena), Rodrigo Bobadilla (flute, quena, zampoña, vocals), Amanda Irarrazabal (double bass, vocals), and Danka Villanueva (violin, vocals).
There are six songs on the album, five of which I wrote and arranged, and our rendition of the Victor Jara's "El Derecho de Vivir en Paz" by which was arranged on the fly by the group.
The album release will be on November 10th.

Thanks Daniel, I'm glad you liked the music. And as far as new territory, I guess we all just have to go where we gotta go, and the steel guitar is our instrument we take with us. _________________ www.susanalcorn.net

Late to the party here. I really enjoyed that Susan, thank you. I love your approach to composition and improvisation. _________________ If it’s on the ground it can’t fall down. |
