How difficult would it be to add two knees to a GFI student model with 2 knee levers? |

Just call or e-mail GFI on their website. They could tell you if it is possible to install 2 more levers, And parts required for installation.
If it is the same type knee lever that is on the Ultra, They can be made into Left, Right or vertical with stop screws on both sides of the lever, Very easy to adjust.

I just got off the GFI web site, They list knee lever kits for the 10 SM model steel. Left or Right. 225.00 per knee lever kit. |

Only you can answer that. If you look at the underside of your student model pull-release guitar and you are confident that you understand how it works and how and when these springs are required, then I expect that it should not be very difficult. Pull-release is not rocket science but it does have an extra layer of complexity vs. all-pull.
