Hello Steelers, New to this forum. I’d posted yesterday with my legal name-Paul-but now am able to use my nickname: Sandy. So…I’ve been gigging with a surprisingly good little amp that maybe under the radar. The Orange 35CR. Average street price is $299 new. My whole small venue rig now fits in my Civic trunk.
GFI Ultra S10, Steelaire, or 35CR, Goodrich pedal. |

Not that I treat your post as a competition, Sandy but I've used a DV Mark Little Jazz combo for many years. I pack that and all accessories in a DJ bag - and use my bicycle for local gigs.
Ok, most of my gigs are non pedal but it's Ricky D-8! Still trying to figure out the best balance point for my cased PSG ! _________________ \paul

Good morning Paul, Yes, the DV Mark gear is excellent. I used one of their heads for awhile. Amazing that you can bicycle to your jobs! |

I have a DV Mark Little Jazz and it's great for pedal steel. Not so fond of it for guitar (it's not bright enough), but it gets a nice, smooth PSG sound and it's tiny and super lightweight. It also make a great bass amp for low-volume stuff! I worked with a bass player who loved to record through it. He'll plug in and I'd take a DI out from the back of the amp. _________________ I don’t believe in pixie dust, but I believe in magic.
