For those of you who might be interested, here is a video from a performance on July 12th in Philadelphia PA at the MAAS Building (where they used to repair trolley cars - in fact, on the wall behind us, you can see the crane that they used to lift the trolley cars).
The first half of the performance is free improvisation (no key center), then at 11:00, we start playing a collection, a medley, of Chilean nueva canciĆ³n folk music:
El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido (Sergio Ortega)
Gracias a la Vida (Violeta Parra)
La Partida (Victor Jara)
and
Mercedes Sosa (one of my tunes)
I hope that, if you listen, you will enjoy the music.

Very nice, as always, Susan. I had one of my few gigs this on the 12th. I was bummed to miss you!
Some friends of ours own the Maas Building, and a couple of my bands did a video shoot there, when they first got it.

Jim, I just now saw that you had included a video url. I enjoyed Melissa Martin and the Mighty Rhythm Kings at the Maas building, and you sound great on guitar (as always). _________________ www.susanalcorn.net
