Legendary Texas singer/songwriter Charlie Robison has passed. He will be missed. More information forthcoming when I know more.

Very sad - apparently he had a heart attack, he was only 59. RIP.

Sad to hear.
I remember seeing him in Gruene Texas many many years ago,he was then married to Emily from the (Dixie) chicks. She was also there with a baby.

OMG; my heart is heavy now. Me and Charlie played many gigs together through the years.
Go Rest High Charlie; you will be sorely missed.
Your Steel Player,
Ricky D

Oh No!! I hate to hear this. Charlie was around quite often back when I was playing for the Dixie Chicks. Really good dude, and had a ton of talent. Great loss
