I redid my package seat about a year and a half ago and it's already flat. Any recommendations for cushion replacement foam? |

I had the same problem with my original Pack a Seat. I eventually built my own and used an exercise mat for cushioning material. I used one layer and covered it in leather.
Although it is thin, it is very comfortable. Even when seated for long periods. It keeps it's form well.
It works for me, however opinions can vary. _________________ You can observe a lot just by looking |

You have to order high density foam. I bought mine on ebay. The kind that's purchased at stores like WalMart will go flat. _________________ 1976 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics 427 pickup, 1975 Birdseye U-12 MSA with Telonics X-12 pickup, Revelation preamp, Carbon Copy Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb, Crown XLS 1002, 2- 15" Eminence Wheelhouse speakers, ShoBud Pedal, Effects Pedals. 1949 Epiphone D-8. |

I bought foam direct from Joe Naylor of SteelSeat. It's definitely the best, but very firm. |

Years ago I talked with Joe Naylor about the foam cushion he uses in the seats he made. He said he used the same foam that is used in long distance bomber planes. It is very different than regular upholstery foam and is made for the user to be able to sit in relative comfort for hours on end. |
