I recently acquired a TT Fex with the battery less modification. It came loaded with a bunch of steel presets, which I have successfully dumped into a cache card, however, I am unable to complete the factory reset using the factory method of holding the πŸ”ΌπŸ”½ together and turning on the power.

I’m hoping that someone out there can possibly help me out with a couple things:
1. An actual owner manual for this unit, I’m using the transfex pro manual per peavey support.
2. The factory preset list
3. Does anyone know if the battery mod has an effect on the ability to factory reset? And is there a workaround or different method?

Thanks in advance for any help or insight

It should be the down arrow and right arrow button held while powering the unit on to reset to factory. πŸ™‚

Well how about that! I was reading the pro fex manual on my phone and apparently misread it! Ha! Thanks for the help 😊

Would still love to have a copy of the actual manual if anyone has it

https://assets.peavey.com/literature/manuals/80302283.pdf

From the peavey.com customer service section of the website... Here's the manual for the TubeFex preamp/processor.

It should be nearly the same as the TranstubeFex as the operation is almost the same except for the tube circuit and some rear panel features.

It's pdf format and you should be able download/print it.

See page 15/16 in the manual for reinitialization.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks , I have the manuals from peavey.com, I also sat on the phone with Peavey for 45 minutes while they searched archives for the original manual for one of these- they said the transfex pro manual, minus the power section. I’m really hoping to find an original, even if it is just the challenge of finding it.
