Hi Damir, It's hard for me to tell by looking at the pictures so I thought I'd ask you if the necks under the fret boards are aluminum covered with Formica or if they're wood covered with Formica? Is the body aluminum? In some ways it reminds me of the older (90's) Sierra Guitars. Hope that's not a dumb question, I just really don't know much about the Excels. Really a sharp looking keyless though!! Just a little tough to pull the trigger on this one for the moment. You always seem to have access to some really interesting instruments.

thanks Barry … as far as Excel goes , my guess would be necks are aluminum , and cabinet is wood except the rear apron which is aluminum … I’m no expert on Excel either lol

The current and recent Excels are all aluminum and very light. They seem to really want to be played, and (which surprised me for an all aluminum guitar) have a really nice sound.

Just looked at it on your site, Damir. I may be interested if it comes in that road case and you can confirm that the total weight of the guitar, legs, pedal rack and case is still under 50 lbs. Also, are there parts available to add a few more KLs?

Jim, I’ll stop by the storage and check scale length and weight , and yes it comes with that case … I believe factory original parts are available directly from Excel

I may be interested if it's a 25 1/2" scale, else not at all.
But I don't want to bother you. Never mind.
