I also have been through all the usual sources with no success, this may be a business idea...

Makes sense - I wonder why they're not common.

Ray from Suncoasteasy told me that since covid he could no longer get chromed alloy tubing from his supplier, also that he is no longer making adjustable steel legs either. Same story he told me six months ago, at least he is consistent.

On the other hand the folks at Out West Country in Canada said they had a few sets left and took my order but then their payment portal would not work for over a week. Finally they called me with a rather fantastic story about thieves breaking into their shop and driving a truck over all of the legs they had left in stock and bending them too badly to sell. Shit's getting serious out there 😎

Actually Dave it's not a "fantastic" story at all it is quite a simple one. The shop was open, keys were in the truck parked in the shop. 2 kids came over to borrow something for there dad and through a bad decision decided to drive the truck around the gravel roads. I had been looking through the stock and moved the legs and other pieces onto the floor behind the truck. I got pulled away from the shop. and when they drove out they backed over the parts. They now won't be able to sit down for a week, I have already been compensated for the stock and i have a couple of helpers here for the summer. I think Lori and I need to redo some landscaping. Very Happy
So at this time Dave I do not have any legs to sell except some bent ones, some under height ones, and maybe i can salvage the plugs as well.
As for our portal Godaddy is working on it and they think they may have found the problem. We should be up soon I hope.
Thanks
Wayne

That's a run of seriously bad luck Wayne, for sure. I'm hoping you are able to get things back in ship shape soon, and that you and Lori can finally sit down and take a long, deep breath! Someday we can all laugh 😎
