I'm trying to make a simple footswitch to turn my TBro (Dobro) effect and Reverb on and off independently using two dpdt toggle switches on my Telonics amp. According to the manual,the tip will be the dobro effect and the ring being the reverb.It states only on/off type switches to be used and not the momentary type.Do I not need the dpdt switches?
Can someone please show me how to wire this correctly as I can't get it to work as I described.

This works for turning reverb and tremolo on and off on my kustom 150 ad

Thanks Ken. I had a couple of mini dpdt switches I thought I would try but that may be why it wasn't working. I could only get the reverb to work. I plan on clamping the box to the leg of the guitar.

If you have a multi meter make sure the switch is working properly.
And make sure you have the right poles connected.

Telonics sells a leg mount switch box. It has two switches as you need and has two push button switches if you ever get the Lex 200 effects system.
I don’t know the price, Call Sophie at the main Telonics number in Mesa, AZ and she will help you with what you need. It comes with the leg mount clip and two 1/4” stereo plugs. So it is plug and play. |
