Bobby Lee loved this lap steel, it was one of 3 instruments special and compact enough, to keep by his bedside during his final weeks. Even though he was no longer able to play he was keen to keep a few special items nearby and within sight.
Like all of Bobby's gear and instruments, its been well loved and taken care of, so its in near new condition. This one does not have leg sockets. The included case was gutted long ago to serve as a keyboard case. Before the guitar ships out it will be well secured, padded and boxed up carefully for a safe journey to its new home.
These Sierra Lap steels were discontinued and sold out a few years ago. They're pretty popular amongst those in the know due to their great tone. The fact that they rarely show up on the used market is a testament to how much their owners like them.
Price is $1500...about the same it sold for new when they were last available. A bit high for the used market maybe, but Bobby's mojo that is included with the instrument is priceless.
I plan to advertise on our local Craigslist, but wanted to give my fellow forumites the first shot at it. Proceeds of course go directly to Bobby's wife Jean.

Beautiful Steel Guitar and Bobby had only the best!
If I were in the market now searching this would be one that I'd sure consider!
Great Steel Guitar! These Steel Guitars had excellent Tone!
