Here are some photos of my latest project. Many parts came from Al Brisco and a used body from Johnny pretzel. Pedals are as smooth as butter, and it sound magnificent. All thatโs missing is the Carter fretboard which is on order, and the little decal that says assembled by Bud Carter. Of course since itโs a parts guitar there is no Carter serial number.

That's a nifty project, Brian. Love the glitter body, looks like a 70's bass boat. That MSA fretboard is a favorite for me. Great tip of the hat to Bud Carter. |

Very cool.
Is the blue sparkle a drum wrap or mica?
Where did you get it?
Looks great. |

Thank you Ivan. It is blue glass glitter wrap used for drums. I got it from
precisiondrum.com They have many sparkles and glitter in many colors. I canโt wait to see mine under stage lights. _________________ LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GEORGIA |

That was my first thought. It reminded me of my marching days back in the early 1970s!

Great job Brian, and a great guitar. The Carter Starters I mentioned in the private message are not in the same league as this model. You should be very pleased when you tune this up and play it. _________________ GFI SM10 3/4, 1937 Gibson EH-150, 2 - Rondo SX Lap Steels and a Guyatone 6 String C6. Peavey 400 and a Roland 40 Amps. Do the knee levers still fold up with the flags on them? |

Thank you Jim and Fred for your kind words. Fred the knee levers do not fold up with the flags attached. They are secured by small wing nuts so easily removed. The three floor pedals are e9th normal, and so ate the two left levers. The fourth pedal acts like a right knee lever and takes the second string down from D# to D. _________________ LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN GEORGIA |
