Hi folks,
No, the Nv-400 transformer wouldn't work. The power tansformer in the Nv-1000 just powers the control circuit. The power TO the amplifier is a separate switching power supply, turned on or off by the control circuit.
The Nv-400's power transformer is larger, powers the whole unit, and wouldn't be compatible.

Eddie, is the transformer you have burned, or just not working? |
