been at it for years never gonna be one of the great ones ..lolo...i'm ok with that...i can cover most gigs
. but a few months ago a very good friend of mine was was playing an old 8 string fender 400 i think ... inc-readable tone an chops...so ...i went and took 3 strings off my sierra..cant do without the f# on top....wonder if anybody makes anything like that....an your welcome ta give me a hard time about this.? thanks in advance....dean

Go for it.
Whatever gets the music from inside your head into your hands and out to the listener.

Just one thing - You might want to check with your buddy to see what tuning he’s got on that 400. It might not be E9.
