On '81 Push Pull which strings would get the tuners with the shorter shafts?

Strings 1 and 10.

On 10 string guitars the 2 short shaft keys are strings 5 & 6, in the narrow part of V. So they will fit with clearance.
If a 12 string the 2 short shafts are strings 6 & 7

When I put new keys on this guitar, I had to file shafts on keys 5 & 6 so they would not interfere with each other.
